On Tuesday, March 5, 2013, Shreveport’s premiere newspaper, the Shreveport Times, devoted most of page 1 and continued onto page 3 of their Life (L) section to a very well-written article on Bertha Cooper Harris, her artwork, and her autobiography, The Courage to Rise Again.
